It’s a good feeling when staff are enthusiastic about the product and want to take part in creation and development. Our manager John started out as a customer who followed our feed for new flavors. And this month he was able to create on one.

This flavor is made with awesome beans from Calabasas Coffee Co. John got a lot of feedback from all the staff, but especially Syd, who helped refine the flavor through all of the sample iterations.

Vietnamese coffee is brewed strong, sometimes with chicory, and then sweetened with condensed milk. But, flavors present differently when frozen. We can’t make an ice pop by only freezing the drink. John worked hard to find the right balance of ingredients for the flavor to shine through in frozen form. It’s on our menu and available now in store.
